Objectives of the workshop
This 90-minute workshop will provide participants with key strategies and practical tools for navigating the Italian job market. It is designed for professionals from abroad with diverse career backgrounds who are interested in exploring job opportunities in Italy and integrating into Italian society.
The session is organized by Varese OltreConfine (VoC), a local volunteer association that has been offering support to the community since 2022, focusing on job searches, CV writing, and assistance with Italian language skills and social inclusion. In partnership with regional training institutions, VoC also supports professional retraining programs.
The workshop will offer valuable insights into understanding Italy’s hiring landscape, tips on adapting your CV to Italian standards, and how to effectively present your skills in an Italian workplace.

- Understanding the Italian job market: where and how to search for employment
- An overview of the main types of employment contracts in Italy
- How to tailor your CV to meet Italian cultural and professional expectations
- Tips for overcoming language barriers and leveraging your international experience
- Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
