Workshop at EMPOWER JRC Ispra: Navigating Italian Tax Laws with Stefano Chiesa
The international community in Ispra is invited to attend the workshop “Navigating Italian Tax Laws,” organized by EMPOWER JRC. The event is designed to provide clear and practical guidance on understanding the Italian tax system and applying it in real-life situations.
The workshop will take place on April 21, 2026, from 12:15 to 13:45, at the JRC Clubhouse (Sala Primule), and will be held in English. Participation is free of charge, with prior registration required.
Over the course of 90 minutes, participants will receive an accessible introduction to the fundamentals of Italian taxation. The session will cover key rules, as well as the rights and obligations that individuals need to be aware of when living and working in Italy.
The first part of the workshop will focus on presenting the general framework of the Italian tax system. This will be followed by an open Q&A session, where attendees will have the opportunity to ask specific questions and address their individual concerns.
The session will be led by Stefano Chiesa, a specialist in international taxation and tax litigation. A graduate in Business Economics from the University of Pavia, he is a founding member of A.z. Consult, with offices in Milan, Varese, Como, and Pavia. He brings extensive experience in handling complex tax matters, particularly in international contexts.
This workshop is particularly relevant for international professionals, researchers, and anyone seeking clarity on their tax situation in Italy or aiming to better understand the legal and fiscal environment in which they operate.
